Hi, welcome to my blog where the reading begins, my name is Jack and I enjoy reading books that connect with sports because I love sports! I also believe the journey of reading is a personal path, created by anyone, willing to create their own journey. Believing that when you‘re reading a book, you should dig deep and push yourself. Reading to me is something that is an opportunity to block everything out and make a change. Another belief of mine is that whatever your passion is, you should take it to a new level no matter how hard it can be. Sometimes we just have to drive ourselves and others to keep going. In my group’s Culture of Readers initiative, we are trying to push kids who have a passion for sports to also keep the motivation to keep reading every night. I feel this is really powerful because I was there at one point but when I started taking my reading to a new level I felt like I was making a change. This connects to many people no matter what your passion is because you are always driving yourself to do better at multiple things.
